March 22 was a big day for Thor’s Hope Foundation and Performance K9 Training! Christina & David Greene handed off yellow lab “Ranger” to the Palm Springs Fire Department. Ranger’s handler is Deputy Fire Chief Jason Loya.
Performance K9 Training is able to purchase and train these incredible dogs because of Thor’s Hope Foundation and it’s founder Susan White. Together we are able to donate fully trained peer support/facility dogs that help with the stresses many firefighters, paramedics and EMTs face. Ranger has trained for hundreds of hours to learn how to comfort individuals who are in need.
Ranger was handpicked for his wonderful temperament and demeanor. He is polite everywhere he goes and with everyone he meets.
This our 3rd dog this year that has been handed off to fire stations in CA and we hope to be able to do this for many more. We LOVE what we do and are honored to be able to contribute to first responders’ needs.
Ranger already feels right at home!
