Training dogs takes a lot of patience and a strong understanding since each one has a different personality and requires custom tailored training to be successful. At Performance K9 Training, that’s exactly what dog owners can expect from our owner and founder, David Greene.

Those who choose our training can rest assured their furry four-legged family member is in great hands. David has a vast number of accolades he’s accumulated over the years, including a number of regional championships, and top five placements for national and international competitions. He has represented the USA on four world teams. Soon, he will be heading to the 2018 FCI IPO World Championships in Italy with Fritz, an amazing German Shepherd he’s campaigning who achieved high point tracking at the AWDF Championships in Galt, California, earlier this year. At the AWDF, David and Fritz secured their spot on the world team by qualifying in the top five after their outstanding performance.

The World Championship of Working Dogs

The FCI World Championship will take place next month in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy, which is located along the Adriatic Sea near Venice. Although this area is commonly known as a tourist destination, it is home to this year’s championships and will draw in dogs and their trainers from 40 different countries around the globe to show off their skills. Not only will the dogs show off their abilities that are valuable in a number of service areas, but the world championship is designed to showcase their ability to perform in the public eye, as well as the unique relationship between dogs and their handlers.

David continues to work hard to help Fritz develop the skills he needs to perform well under pressure. He is proud to be joining his other team members from Northern California and the East Coast to represent the USA next month.

Performance K9 Training has built a solid reputation on training dogs for a variety of purposes including behavior modification and aggression. David uses the same techniques and tactics that he uses to train award-winning dogs as he does for each and every dog that attends Performance K9 Training. Contact us today to get your dog started!
